Lime Bikes System Maps
Lime bikes are available across London, but are dockless so they arenβt tied to a certain region. Use the Lime smartphone app to locate a bike near you. While the bicycles are available in most areas of the city, there are many small restriction zone where you cannot park a bicycle. Double check the Lime app to make sure you arenβt parking your bike in a forbidden zone.
Lime bicycle restriction zones are marked in red. Everywhere else is ok to start and end your trip.
How to Start Your Trip
Lime bikes do not need to start and stop trips at a docking station. Each bicycle comes with a rear wheel lock built into the frame of the bicycle. To start your trip, open the Lime app on your mobile phone and find a bicycle nearby. Once you are next to your bike scan the QR code of the bicycle using the camera in the app. This bike will unlock and you can now ride.
How to End Your Trip
To end your trip, find a regular spot to lock your bike next to a post or bike stand and use ring lock on the rear wheel. Just push the red tab closed to lock the rear wheel and your trip will end. The Lime app will show you your duration and cost of your trip.
